Born in Trinidad, Colorado Sharon was effectively home schooled as her family traveled the western United States.
Dad was a mining engineer who studied at the University of colorado. His travels gave Sharon access to mine sites, at times  living on indian reservations. Absent a camera she  captured images in her art.
Traveling throughout Europe and South Central America she acted as business agent for various corporations exposing her to a greater variety of art than previous travels had done.
In Austin Texas she studied sculpture at the University of Texas.
From 1978 to 1988 Sharon lived in the Bahamas and now resides in Pahrump, Nevada.
Having drawn for most of her life her main interests are western and natural art working in charcoal, pencil, pastels and sculptures. Sharon will also do murals including historical scenes of mining.
