Arlene McKinley
   Arlene’s experience with art began in Otsego, New York where she graduated from Central High School in 1954 and was already developing her skills. She moved to Arizona in 1960 where she met and married her true love, Bill.
    After a pleasant period in colorado from 1976 to 1992, they returned to Alamo, Nevada, near Ely.
Arlene developed her skills while raising seven gifted children. Her desire to be a fashion designer is reflected in many of her paintings with her choice of colors and design. As a self taught artist Arlene has worked and instructed in ceramics and produced porcelain Dolls. She has participated in numerous art shows.  Her “Log Cabin in the snow”, which won best of show continues to be displayed at the Art Guild Gallery’s permanent collection in Caliente.
      She has participated in many workshops and now specializes in oils, acrylics and watercolors.
    Her portrayals of landscapes, wildlife and flowers where she has traveled and lived are a welcome addition to any venue you choose.
